As I sit here today with my cold and broken
heart
I still can’t believe that you are gone and our
love has fallen apart
I still remember the day when you held me
and said “forever”
I wish I knew that what it actually meant was

The pain in my heart is so sharp that it cuts
me inside like a knife
I wonder how I will live through each day
without you in my life
